The Fat Explorer is a unique handcycle offering unparalleled mountain biking and hiking opportunities for people with disabilities.

Designed for extreme off-road conditions, it provides unrivalled performance and access to previously unreachable places like mountains, trails, beaches, and bike parks.

The Explorer has even reached Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest peak. It features fully independent suspension, hydraulic disc brakes on all three wheels, a Schlumpf Mountain-Drive transmission, and 16 to 28 gears with stationary shifting. Its dual steering system includes a traditional handlebar for fast descents and a chest steering system for straight-line travel and small turns. The Explorer is also available with an electric assist.
