Hydra Light Sit Ski

The Hydra Light Mono Sit Ski, available from Adaptive Concepts in Australia, is a lighter version of the Hydra monoski, specially designed for lighter skiers.

Weighing just 15.4 lbs (7.0 kg) without a footrest and 18.2 lbs (8.2 kg) with a footrest, the Hydra Light is 6.5 lbs (3 kg) lighter than the regular Hydra. This redesigned monoski features a lightweight frame and components, making it exceptionally easy to handle.

The Hydra Light comes with a newly developed lightweight shock based on a mountain bike shock, modified for DynAccess monoskis. This shock includes a custom-made ice scraper, cold temperature oil, and modified damping by Penske Racing Shocks, with adjusters for high and low-speed rebound as well as compression damping. For skiers who prefer, a full-size Hydra shock can also be installed in the Hydra Light frame. This model is perfect for skiers weighing up to 135 lbs.
